PV Designer 3D

Our unique software platform includes a powerful Webapp that allows easy and fast PV planning. It is primarily intended for PV installers, but can be used as well by private houseowners, architects and engineers, so that project data can be shared with all stakeholders. PV Designer can import/export 2D and 3D exchange file formats, thus enabling a seamless workflow for users of any CAD software (Autocad, Autocad REVIT, Archicad, Sketchup, Vectorworks, etc).

If the building does not yet exist, or for countries other than Switzerland, you can load a 2D or 3D drawing exported from your CAD software

Get the 3D model of the building

Our database contains precise 3D models of all buildings in Switzerland. PV Designer 3D automatically generates the roof framework, that can be edited to match reality

Automatically add and lay out a PV system

Just a mouse click and PV Designer 3D automatically performs the module layout for the chosen type of system: BIPV, residential BAPV, industrial BAPV, bifacial BAPV for flat roof

Generate your detailed offer

Customize the offer to your visual identity and your end-customer pricing, including 3D views, drawings, a profitability analysis that takes into account self-consumption, etc.

Order components from any affiliated distributor

Select your usual distributor who will deliver and invoice you for the equipment

Interfacing with Solaredge Designer

To simplify the planning process for installers, PV Designer 3D also allows project data to be transferred to Solaredge Designer in order to carry out precise sizing of inverters including string plans. Interfacing with other types and makes of inverters will be added in the future.
